What you need

  • A free Claude account
  • 8 to 12 real questions from texts, emails, or calls
  • Your real answers or policies in a few plain lines (hours, prices, cancellation, payment)

Copy this prompt

Write a short FAQ page for my small [type of business].
Use only the questions and policies below. Group the questions under 3 or 4 simple headings.
Write each answer in 2 sentences or fewer, in a friendly, plain voice.
If a question has no policy below, write "[ADD ANSWER]" instead of guessing.

Questions: [paste 8 to 12 questions]
My policies: [hours, prices or ranges, cancellation, payment, service area]

Steps

  1. Collect real questions from the last month of texts, emails, and calls. Remove names first.
  2. Write your policies in a few plain lines.
  3. Open Claude, paste the prompt above, and fill in the [brackets].
  4. Replace each “[ADD ANSWER]” yourself, then add the page to your website.

Test it yourself (10 minutes)

  1. Make up 8 questions a customer of a small salon might ask, and write 4 policies.
  2. Leave 2 questions with no policy and check that the AI writes “[ADD ANSWER]” for them.
  3. Check that no policy was invented.
  4. Note what you changed. It shows which answers need your own words.
Check this yourself
  • Every answer matches your real policy.
  • No "[ADD ANSWER]" is left in the final page.
  • Prices, hours, and areas are current.
  • No customer names or contact details appear.

Mistakes and limits

  • AI invents policies when you do not give them. Include the policy for each question.
  • Answers can sound too formal. Ask for a friendlier tone.
  • Remove names or contact details from the questions before you paste them.

Variations

  • Ask for each answer in under 30 words.
  • Ask for the 5 most important questions to put at the top.
